Right from the beginning of the development of Sign Language Guide emphasis was put on producing a multimedia exhibition guide which is state-of-the-art in design and technology. Quality assurance is part of our policy.

Interviews with numerous users revealed that a direct translation of spoken language to sign language on video is insufficient. Therefore, Sign Language Guide includes sign language videos for which individual scripts were drawn up. The structure of displayed information is specifically tailored to the logics and grammar of sign language.

The information regarding particular exhibitions and exhibiton content is individually compiled to meet the specifications of the respective museum. It is then produced in the highest video and audio quality.

The user interface was designed in collaboration with interface specialists and is regularly adapted in order to optimally fulfil the needs of deaf visitors.

Sign Language Guide can be played on various devices. It can also be produced as an application which museum visitors can download for their own devices.
